I was told by the manager of this place that a total of three of these giant restaurants exist in Food City stores. One here in Chandler where I went, and one in Maryvale near 47th Avenue and Indian School, and one in South Phoenix near Southern and 7th Street.

Most of the Food City stores have postage stamp sized delis that sell your typical America junk food with a few items of Mexican food.

Well this place is not postage stamp sized. The eating area is the size of a football field and the food selection area is the length of a football field. I probably should say soccer field because the clients are mostly Latinos.

If you’re a racist you probably should avoid this place, the crowd is mostly Latino. If your one of those morons who wants to make English the official language you should also avoid this place. A large number of people in this place can’t habla una palabra de ingles! The menu is written in Spanish with English subtitles in small letter.

The food is good and the food is cheep. And even if you can’t habla espanal you can always point. Or wait till you find one of the people that speak English. And if you look hard enough you will see all the food items are labeled in smaller English words in addition to the large words written in Espanol.

My self I like the small bowls of soup which are really large bowls of soup if you ask me. After the government shakes you down for tax they only cost $3.50 and they stuffed me.

Food City stores are a chain of grocery stores that cater to the Latino people in Arizona. They are owned by the Bashas chain of grocery stores.
